Greenwin Holdings Inc. and KingSett Affordable Housing LP have been selected to the develop the 7.1 acre site at 705 Warden Avenue, which will be transformed from a surface parking lot into a new complete community with 600 new homes, including 250 affordable rental units, the expansion of Warden Hilltop Park, the renaturalization of land adjacent to Taylor Massey Creek, new public streets, improvements to the public realm, additional retail space, and a new child care centre.

This site is currently being used as a parking lot, and by unlocking and transforming this space, we are able to maximize its potential to benefit the community of Scarborough Southwest to improve its overall livability.

705 Warden Avenue is a project part of the Housing Now Initiative to invest in City-owned lands across Toronto for the development of affordable housing within mixed-income, mixed-use, transit-oriented communities. The Zoning and Draft Plan of Subdivision were approved in June 2020.
